Call me crazy, but it seems easy to start putting clauses in these contracts that repays everyone’s salary each time it grosses $100mil at the box office. For any micro budget movie, there’s gotta be an easy number to thrown it for a similar effect.

- Relegation zone
- Only draw top four picks
- Reverse order of standings for the rest
- Coin flips for 5/6/7 (relegation teams only)
That’s it. Delete the rest of this, and it’s a good (great?) idea. Drawing EVERY lottery slot is bananas.

I’ll leave the debate about the nature of property taxes to others. But I hope everyone realizes that doing this will make home ownership even more difficult and expensive for first time homebuyers.
Does that sound like a great idea? Raising that particular barrier even higher?

Indiana Gov. Mike Braun wants to eliminate property taxes for seniors and those who have paid off their mortgage.
This is the same state government that removed tax relief for first time homeowners in a property tax bill last year because it would have allegedly harmed local schools.
Yet under this proposal, Braun would pay zero dollars in property taxes on his huge, nearly 10,000 square foot home with hundreds of thousands of dollars of taxpayer-funded improvements.
The hypocrisy & hatred of young adults here is insane.
It’s incredibly anti-family.

I think a lot of this is silly — the best solution is to control your closeout and not fall for pump fakes — but I also think a good rule would be:
Defenders who jump and land with both feet inside the arc can’t foul three point shooters with their bodies.
The NBA needs to implement a "natural shooting motion" rule. If you move unnaturally to draw a foul it should be an offensive foul

I also think it’s do-able to implement a rule where perimeter shooters can’t draw fouls from jumping defenders by moving horizontally. But I think the shooter has to move his feet to make that truly enforceable.

Ivica Zubac is 5-1 lifetime vs Wemby. Would some Pacers fans still want to roll with a backup PG at pick 5 and like Jay Huff (sorry buddy) against Wemby instead?

Again, I’m not bullish on Zubac being able to even slightly slow Wemby down. Dude might be unstoppable. But speaking of alternate Pacers realities: Myles Turner is -36 combined in games where Wemby played, and Turner’s inability to slow opposing centers was always a weakness.
