The time has come to say the quiet part out loud, and change our mission from observation to action. There will be no more elections. The media has failed us. Our political leaders have failed us. It is time to act. thecasualanalyst.com/blog-1/…

The world is running out of oil. This "deal," a great defeat for the United States, is supposed to change that. But not one oil tanker has gone through the Strait of Hormuz today. It won't happen until Friday, at the earliest, if at all. If. At. All. oilprice.com/Energy/Oil-Pric…

The Russians are destroying UNESCO sites & brutalizing civilians because they can't win the war they started. There is NOTHING stopping countries from deploying their own defense forces to Kyiv to free up Ukraine to send more to the front. It's time to end this thing

I strongly dislike Trita Parsi. I would never, ever advocate for such a thing. He has every right to be here, and sending him back would put him in extreme danger. Don't treat this as an idol threat. Trump does this kind of stuff.
WOW, Trump administration has launched a probe into Iran war critic Trita Parsi and is considering to cancel his Green Card and deport him out of the country, The Free Press reports

Ukrainian forces carried out a widespread drone attack on Russia this morning, scoring a number of successful hits. Dozens of drones swarmed St. Petersburg, striking Baltic Fleet installations, the port of Mariupol was hit, and a major oil depot in Ust-Labinsk was set ablaze.

More devastating strikes by Ukraine's Armed Forces across Russia last night, among which being the massive fuel depots at Ust-Labinsk. Containing up to 15,000 cubic meters of gasoline and diesel, this storage and transshipment facility receives fuel from refineries and redistributes it by rail and road. Ust-Labinsk sits in Krasnodar Krai, one of Russia's most important logistics regions for supporting operations in southern Ukraine and occupied Crimea.

⚡️ BREAKING: Ukraine's special forces restrict Russian supply routes to Crimea. Operators from the 3rd Regiment of the Special Operations Forces have established aerial control over the Melitopol-Chonhar corridor, destroying enemy vehicles and infrastructure to disrupt critical military and fuel logistics to the occupied peninsula.

Turkey recognized Israel in 1949, but right now relations are dire. A cohort in the Israeli cabinet is signaling that it sees Turkey as the next Iran prepping Syria as a staging ground for coming confrontation. And Erdogan denounces Israel for Gaza. Saudi Arabia has made accession to the Abraham Accords contingent on the Palestinian issue, which -- to put it mildly -- has not advanced since Trump's first term. What incentive does MbS have to join now? Lukashenko on the "Peace Board" an offer he can't refuse? UAE's relationship with Israel has deepened and strengthened already, most recently because the war. Israel sent Iron Dome to the Emiratis and much else has happened offstage. But, as Trump notes, they're already signatories to the Accords. Qatar and Pakistan? Now pull the other one. Trump wants to spin any deal with Iran as the sort of geopolitical victory even his critics here and in Israel would have difficulty denying him as such. Across-the-board normalization would indeed paper over Iran's still-kicking missile program, its financing and arming of terrorist proxies, and possibly even its unexfiltrated HEU. But this is also a convenient way to set conditions for a grand bargain he knows are impossible to satisfy and that Iran won't accept.
Trump on his conference call with Middle East leaders Saturday asked "all" of the allies to sign onto the Abraham Accords as part of Iran agreement, sources told @CBSNews. Today he put it in writing: "Those Countries discussed are Saudi Arabia, The United Arab Emirates (already a Member!), Qatar, Pakistan, Türkiye, Egypt, Jordan, and Bahrain (already a Member!)."

Probably a precondition dictated by his puppet master Netanyahu, 100% guaranteed to be rejected, thus prolonging the forever war
Trump, in a new post on Iran this morning, demands that as part of the peace deal, other Middle East nations join the Abraham Accords and recognize Israel.

No land bridge = a failure of the most basic objective of the 2022 invasion, to fix the fact that Russia was simultaneously fighting in the Donbas while supplying Crimea entirely by sea (and 1 bridge). With Ukraine's attacks on Russian ships, Crime is a huge liability once again
Update from the Highway of Death: Two weeks into Ukraine's campaign to choke off Russians' access to both Crimea and occupied Kherson, things are going well, with Ukraine progressively making the coveted land-bridge impassable.

The loudest “bang” last night was a ballistic missile landing about 200 metres from my apartment. No wonder the entire building was shaking. This footage has been approved for publication by the Ukrainian government.

Russia threatened to do this if Ukraine attacked the May 9 parade on the Red Square. After Trump’s intervention on Putin’s behalf, Ukraine agreed to a ceasefire so Russia could hold the parade. Two weeks later, Putin unleashed the ballistic missile barrage on central Kyiv anyway.
Horrific. Morning footage from Kyiv Ukraine after Russia poured ballistic missiles on civilian neighborhoods, targeting apartment buildings, schools, markets, and bomb shelters full of people. Video: @radiosvoboda's reporter Serhii Nuzhnenko.
