2013–14 से 2023–24 के बीच Co 0238 ने गन्ना क्षेत्र में नई क्रांति लाई। उपज 63.20 से 78.12 टन/हेक्टेयर और चीनी रिकवरी 9.10% से 11.31% पहुँची। किसानों की आय, चीनी उत्पादन और इथेनॉल निर्माण को मिली नई गति।
