I never realised how much reflection glare you get on a Mac until I worked from home and have a window behind me. I thought we got rid of all those issues with screens years ago? Working with the curtains shut all day is rubbish.
Just wondered how all the other viruses are doing in lockdown? Will our social distancing have wiped out a few other baddies along the way?

Pretty sure people have already forgotten what two metres looks like

Just when you think the zombie sleep days are over, The Child gets up at 4.40 am. One should only be awake at this time from partying all night or having to catch a plane. Do not expect any sense from me today.

Perhaps whichever deity they’re praying to should have been a bit more careful about creating the virus in the first place.

Anyone else out there wishing there was a Royle Family Lockdown episode?

Dreaming of a future when we no longer have to print and sign documents to kick something off. When you are 99% paper free and living in the cloud, paper printing is a massive progress blocker and pain in the bum.

The fundraising effort by a 99yo is astonishing - but the notion that the NHS has somehow become a charity and that is perfectly ok should make our blood run cold.

I am not as tech savvy as this kid! Need to gen up on my zoom skills!
Found the kid playing with her dog instead of Zooming with her teacher. She told me not to worry. She took a screenshot of herself “paying attention,” then cut her video & replaced it with the picture. “It’s a gallery view of 20 kids, mom. They can’t tell.” She is 10. #COVID19

I don’t have much truck with gender stereotypes, but there is something here about wisdom and compassion in leadership - and at this time, in diverse cultures, women seem more able to wield those powers. forbes.com/sites/avivahwitte…

To amuse myself, I have started fantasising about what political eutopia might look like. Currently neither suitors fit my needs - one is too weak and unsure of itself, the other too fat, bloated and arrogant. What do we need as a country? Who would suit all tastes?

A reminder that to 'quiddle' (1700s) is to busy oneself with entirely trivial things, as a way of avoiding the important ones.
