To put things in perspective.
I have door to door leafletting in the past.
If you move relentlessly you can manage about 200 per hour.
You do slow down.
Probably you would manage about 1,000 in maybe 6 hours.
You would probably stop for lunch. 6 1 = 7 hours.
By the end you are really slowing down.
Maximum effort, maybe 1,200 in a day.
Now switch that to canvassing, which I have never done.
Here you are knocking on doors, waiting for an answer and then having a little chat.
Maybe max would be 15 per hour?
So you do fewer than 100 in a day.
People from any party turning up for one day and then personally stating that their party is going to win from what they have seen is pure fiction.
There will be several tens of thousands of homes that you never ever reach.
Just do your canvassing and then tell us about your (hopefully) nice day, but spare us the predictions please.
