The Harrisdale Handlebars have raised more than $19,000 for @MovemberAUS. ๐

Wheelie top effort ๐ฒ
A team of Harrisdale Primary School staff, known as the Harrisdale Handlebars, took part in a 24 hour stationary bike ride at the school to raise money for @MovemberAUS.
The Handlebars raised almost $5000, and were two-tired after the 24 hour ride. ๐๐ด๐จ

Our SDD Day today was all about giving back to our community. Today a group of us helped bring nature back to our local area by planting plants in a man-made wetland. We all had lots of fun getting muddy! @HarrisdalePS @MissJRetta @julian_thrupp @Mrs_M_Turner @ElboroughMs

Check out the @HarrisdalePS library which has been transformed into an Egyptian Oasis as part of the school's book fair celebrations. ๐
The school also ran a colouring-in competition where winning students received a voucher to spend at the book fair. ๐๐ด๐

It is so important to enable Ss to explain their understanding. Here we used a #Keynote scaffold & manipulatives to represent open-ended questions involving halves, quarters and eighths. Ss added a voice recording to reason and justify. #everystudentsuccessful
