Our SDD Day today was all about giving back to our community. Today a group of us helped bring nature back to our local area by planting plants in a man-made wetland. We all had lots of fun getting muddy! @HarrisdalePS @MissJRetta @julian_thrupp @Mrs_M_Turner @ElboroughMs

Check out the @HarrisdalePS library which has been transformed into an Egyptian Oasis as part of the school's book fair celebrations. ๐Ÿ‘‡ The school also ran a colouring-in competition where winning students received a voucher to spend at the book fair. ๐Ÿ“—๐ŸŒด๐Ÿ˜

It is so important to enable Ss to explain their understanding. Here we used a #Keynote scaffold & manipulatives to represent open-ended questions involving halves, quarters and eighths. Ss added a voice recording to reason and justify. #everystudentsuccessful

Ss have absolutely loved using a variety of #Keynote scaffolds in Statistics. By developing the basis of a picture graph before an activity, there is a greater focus on data collection, representation and interpretation #everystudentsuccessful @BlueprintLearn
