India gained around 2.1 million hectares of tropical dry woodland between 2014 and 2024.
Large-scale tree planting, conservation and restoration schemes, and expanding plantations are some of the reasons behind this.
Around 4000 EVMs used in recent West Bengal elections destroyed due to massive fire stored in Govt building in Alipore, Kolkata, West Bengal
Obviously BJP and Election Commission will call it just a accident and close the case
Are we really living in Constitutional Democracy? 🤐
Rahul Gandhi is scuba diving in Andaman with slogan "Green over Greed", and here, near Bengaluru, his party run govt is moving to turn this lush green, fertile space into a concrete township.
🚨Bengaluru's infra gridlock: Delayed projects pile up as new plans add to traffic woes
Recently, real estate major Prestige Group completed a 1.5-km flyover connecting its campus near Bellandur Lake to Outer Ring Road using its own funds in about a year.
The project stands in sharp contrast to the pace at which public infrastructure works are executed in Bengaluru.
Take the case of the long-delayed 2.4-km Ejipura flyover (Kendriya Sadan-Ejipura corridor), often dubbed Bengaluru's 'Stonehenge'. First proposed in 2014 and contract awarded in 2017, project has been plagued by repeated delays and is now expected to be completed only by October 2026-nearly a decade after work began.
A Moneycontrol review found that more than 30 major infrastructure projects being executed by various government agencies have suffered significant delays, leading to cost overruns and adding to traffic congestion in India's tech and startup capital.
Even as several old projects remain unfinished, government agencies continue to announce new ones, extending Bengaluru's seemingly endless cycle of construction activity and traffic disruptions

The upcoming Greater Bengaluru municipal elections will shape the quality of life in our neighbourhoods for years to come.
Whitefield Rising recently met Mahadevapura MLA @MALimbavali and submitted a letter urging:
• Selection of capable, public-spirited candidates for the upcoming ward elections.
• Formation of functional Ward Committees to strengthen citizen participation in local governance.
Municipal elections matter. Councillors influence how ward budgets are spent and have a direct impact on everyday issues such as footpaths, streetlights, garbage collection, roads, parks, and drainage.
As citizens, we must encourage good people to step forward and contest, and vote based on the issues that affect our daily lives.
Strong wards need strong representatives. The choices we make in these elections will help determine the future of our communities.
We will submit similiar letters to other representatives as well.
Soros Agents BJP | Epstein Boy Hardeep Puri got ₹1900 Cr funding from George Soros, who is enemy of India according to BJP.
So why are you not sacking the American agent Hardeep Puri and order an investigation into anti India activities by him @narendramodi?

Is it a problem of Bihar, or of BJP govts?

Complaining is easy. Thousands of grievances are filed with municipal corporations every day.
But how do citizen's rate the resolutions they get?
We used citizen ratings to grade each area in Bengaluru and create report cards for each part of the city.
