Taking a bit of a break from the Cosmere to read The Tainted Cup. Solid world building and excellent mystery
/investigation elements. It’s a fun read and I’m excited to dig in to the 2nd book.

EXCLUSIVE: The new "Stargate" TV series has been axed at Amazon.
The show was first announced with a series order in November 2025 and hailed from showrunner Martin Gero, who was a writer on "Stargate SG-1" and "Stargate: Atlantis." Sources say Amazon execs were concerned that Gero's take on the series would not have broad appeal beyond the franchise's already dedicated fanbase.

I wasn’t sure how Spider-Noir was going to pull this off and do justice to a PI story, a Spider-Man story and a Nick Cage role, but somehow it all really worked for me.
I’d definitely recommend checking it out if you’re a fan of any of those things.

Saw The Mandalorian and Grogu last night. While I certainly understand a lot of the criticism, the movie was very inline with the show. It’s fun. Definitely not the best Star Wars film, but far from the worst.

With the current state AI, this feels shortsighted. With Vávra stepping back from dev at Warhorse, I was hoping they would chill on the AI glazing. This is disappointing.
Kingdom Come Deliverance II localization dev says he was fired and replaced with AI.
"Yesterday, with no forewarning, I was invited to a meeting and promptly told that, in an effort to "make the company more effective" and "save finances" [...] my position at the company would become "obsolete" in favour of using AI for all translations going forward.
All I want is for people to be more informed about what's going on it the games industry behind closed doors."
Warhorse Studios is a studio that's known for their writing, insane that they would fire their translator in favor of AI slop translations.

Finally got through Oathbringer, the 3rd Stormlight Archive book. Had a bit of trouble near the middle but slammed through the second half in just a few days.
Lots of questions answered, but so many new ones to take their place 😅

One of the most transparent dev teams ever for a AAA game and they still have something to whine about before the game has even released.

Digital Foundry was not just sent a PS5 review code for Crimson Desert, they were sent a whole ass PS5 Pro with Crimson Desert already downloaded onto the console. Was this done so they could not test the game on base PS5 too?? Lol I have never heard of this happening before. 😂😂

YouTube search has been beyond broken for years now. I use DuckDuckGo to search YouTube, that's how bad it is lol
