A huge mistake I see people make in the gym: Taking too little rest between sets. If you’re taking less than 2 minutes of rest you’re killing your gains. Here’s an example: (Assuming same difficulty of sets) Short rest: Set 1 - 12 reps Rests 90 seconds Set 2 - 8 reps Adequate rest: Set 1 - 12 reps Rests 3 minutes Set 2 - 11 reps The longer rest lead to 3 more muscle growth stimulating reps performed. This will lead to far more growth over time.

Desks are a Health Hazard. And second hand desks aren’t much better! Kick a new habit and schedule two…15 minute walks per day. Then flick your bic and peer pressure your office mate to tag along. Warning….once you feel better it’s gonna be hard to stop.

I'm basically off my nutrition plan as of yesterday. Stress has been very high this week and old patterns around cravings and mindless eating have come back. The next couple of days will be rough but I'll get reset this weekend and have a solid plan for next week.

Around here the weather can change fast. Treat your fitness like the Christmas lights. Keep them in good shape...have a plan...and put them up early while you're still in control of the conditions. It will be the gift that keeps giving all year long!
