Artists talking about art should probably be saved, mostly, for talking to other artists. I find so much of it incredibly boring these days because I there's too much of it and it is geared to the normies who think the artist is infallible.

I think meaning is a personal and individual thing. If we act as though meaning imbues our actions and creations with never-ending, universal value, I think we are open to great meaninglessness. Meaning is when an individual cursed with temporality can glimpse the eternal.

We all have different orientations to time—living in the pat, living in the future, living in the NOW, or some mix. I can't figure mine out. I kind of feel like I live in an imaginative mental state that's not quite any of those things.
