My name is Mouse. 56yr old male. I #run🏃🏼for fun. Better a little smile than a big ego. Kind hearts are more than Coronets, & simple faith than Norman blood.
Chips & mushy peas 😋. Sat on a bench at the side of a path, sheltered from the wind, golf course & sea view. No salt 😔. I’ve been given my orders from my adult children - no salt 🧂 keep your blood pressure down. No stressing about work. Only happy thoughts in happy places 😊.
🏃 around the lake, through the woods, down to the river, & back.
Loved every step. Needed it.
Wishing folks a lovely weekend. Keep moving forward, no matter how small the steps may be. Little by little, slowly but surely.
My sons had their Proms this week. All went well 😮💨
I cut through a customers phone cable this morning 🤦♂️ - discovered it was old cable, thank goodness 😬
Oldest son & his pals flew ✈️ to Belfast this morning - I’m worried 😧
Blood pressure v high on Monday. Got it lower now.
My number one son has his school leaver’s prom tonight. Looking very dapper in his suit. Number two son (taller than us - we fed him well 😂 he’s a gym bro) has his school prom on Thursday. Busy week. Very proud of my boys. Growing into fine young men.
My wife has no social media. No facebook, twitter, or instagram. She doesn’t watch tv. Never listens to the news. Her life is her family. She keeps me sane in an increasingly insane 🇬🇧. But for my happy place, I’d go insane too. Without her, I’d move to 🇺🇸 Texas, & be a cowboy 🤠
My two sons & I are ready ⚽️. Should be fun. Me & Son 1 are supporting Arsenal. Son 2 is going for PSG (he’s a Man Utd fan). C’mon, The Gunners. #champi̇onsleaguefinal
Not posted in a while. Great to see folks posting their running & fitness journeys. It encourages me, & no doubt many others. I’m keeping up my🏃♂️streak. Only the minimum 😔. Tiring at work & busy at home. I’m enjoying the colour in my garden. Peony / Alium / Aqualegia / Quince ☺️
Starting the day in a good way. I’m a great believer in the power of the mind & the psychology of exercise. Understanding how the mind can be trained to work better, like our bodies. Environment can also impact the way I feel. A change of location for the weekend lifts my mind 🧠
It’s been a busy week. Wet too. Only 1 mile run each day. Reason: mega busy. My oldest son passed his driving test on Monday. Been looking for a little car for him everyday. Travelling all over. Ended up here (Falkirk - The Kelpies). I’ve ran here before. He got a car 🚙 🥳
I ran through some woods this morning. A track that started at a gate & an archway, and ended around the edge of open fields, with the coastline in the distance. The underside of this wooden bench caught my eye 😱 🕷️ made of metal. I bet it’s given a few visitors a fright 😂
“Miss Grover left the court without making any comment. She later posted on social media saying she was “absolutely devastated” & that women were being discriminated against.
… I also said, “we will all wake up tomorrow & men will still not be women.” An important point.
I am absolutely devastated
Men who claim to be women have more rights than actual women in Australia.
It is women who are being discriminated against, not the men who claim to be us.
But in a sense, nothing has changed: we will all wake up tomorrow & men will still not be women.
A run further down the coast. A mix of coastal trail & road. My legs feel okay after yesterday’s long run. Happy about that. Even happier that I’m not training for anything. No races on my horizon. Just me, my legs, & the path ahead. I feel relaxed. A lovely morning for a run. 🏃
Western society is currently divided between people who know this is a man and are prepared to say so and those who know this is a man but lie out of obedience to an ideology. There is no third option. Literally nobody on earth thinks "Roxanne Tickle" is actually a woman.
It is the day after #GigglevTickle and I haven’t woken up believing that men can be women. You can try & punish me for not believing it, but you can never make me believe it.
Men cannot be women.
Happy parkrun eve!
Wear your women's rights t-shirts with courage and pride tomorrow. It doesn't matter if we call it a race or a run. What does matter is that men are not women, and women are not men. Women want equity, not equality. We want fair results.

An Australian judge has ruled in favour of the gentleman on the right.
Who claims he was discriminated against by the woman on the left - who removed him from her ‘female only’ app. On the basis that he was male.
Tickle (right) claims he is female.
In fact, the appeal judge went further than the original ruling - finding direct rather than indirect discrimination and ordering Sall Grover to pay $20,000 in damages (double the original amount), plus costs of up to $100,000 (to cover both the main and cross-appeals).
On the basis that Grover excluded Tickle from the Giggle app. And then refused to re-admit him on the basis of ‘her gender-related appearance’.
Now Grover is off to the High Court. To defend herself against claims of ‘sex discrimination’ - against an individual who anyone can clearly see, on sight, is male.
Insanity.
@salltweets has my full support - along with the support of many people here in the UK.
And this case is a reminder of why women (and men) must continue defending single-sex rights and spaces. Relentlessly.
While the impact is felt differently in different parts of the world - due to differing legal systems - it is clear that we are witnessing a global attack on the rights of women and girls.
We cannot afford to stay silent about it.
