Hot take: Lily Gao was perfect as Ada Wong in RE4 Remake portraying her clear confidence while also portraying her inner sadness and shame helping Wesker.
Lily Gao is the first chinese actress to voice and motion capture Ada Wong in resident evil 4 remake ❤️

Incoming "how was this a hot take? idiot! Everyone loves her!" by people who weren't even here back in 2023 when the remake came out seeing her being completely shat on by social media (even by sane people)

Hey @asha_shar Please don't punish the talent or IP if/when the day comes that it underperforms due to the Xbox install base / gamepass etc. You made the choice to remove it from PS5 with the HUGE install base and you are responsible for that choice.
‘Gears of War: E-Day’ reportedly has a development budget of over $400M (via: @_Tom_Henderson_)

I'm pro exclusives (for the sake of healthy competition) but I'm still against it with this game seeing as it was intended to be multiplat until a last minute change

"We lost Kojima" He was never on your "side" and there's no way you'd think he was if you actually played his games since 1998 (No.. Some hot characters isn't him being "with you" dumbass). Hunter Schafer was announced years ago to be one of the leads in OD too. Where you been?
With Hunter Schafer.

Angry Joe didn't like the story, characters, the stealth or the overall gameplay variety in 007: First Light but still somehow gave it a 7/10. This is my shocked reaction:

I love the game. Couldn't care less if he likes or dislikes it to be clear. My issue here is that it feels like he's faking the score out of fear of backlash. Skill Up for example I disagree with plenty of times but I still respect him because I know he's atleast being honest.

Will forever be happy of my own absolute refusal to not get the sequel (to my favorite game of all time) that I had waited 7 years for spoiled. Went completely dark for months the second I heard "there's leaks!" Best decision I've ever made. Got the intended experience 🙏❤️
Man, I still remember when this scene leaked like it was yesterday. I got full body chills from how good it looked and how ominous the tone felt. Still one of my favorite cutscenes in a game.

My twitter at that point was used exclusively for notifications from Neil Druckmann/Naughty Dog themselves just to see if the game would get delayed again etc. Also still followed Nibel (🫡) for other gaming news.

It's crazy that when this comes out it's been 10 years since the RE engine era started with 7 and only now will those newer fans finally learn some real backstory (pre RE4R/7/8) about arguably the 2 most important characters in the lore with Chris & Wesker. Well played Capcom😎
Resident Evil Veronica new details! - Confirmed to be a third-person only game - Developed by the same team as RE2 and RE4 Remakes - Capcom views Veronica as just as important as the numbered titles - Game is called "Veronica" and not "Code Veronica" to align with the one word subtitle of their recent games - Stars Claire, Chris and Albert Wesker - Mashup of RE2 game mechanics - Takes place 3 months after RE2 so Claire isn't a government agent or anything yet - Taking what they have learnt from previous RE games including RE Requiem - Want to respect the original, but also deliver a fresh experience videogameschronicle.com/#goo…

Ignorant view on the industry. Having "the big 3" trying to outdo eachother for our attention heavily benefits us all in the long run with better products and even prices. When these companies feel safe enough to stop caring about competition is when they've won & we lost.

Asmongold goes off, saying he's tired of console exclusives and that they don't benefit anybody 👀 "There is no benefit for the customer that a video game is locked to a single console. In a perfect world every video game would be playable on every console and also on PC”

If Sony was in a more or less "tied" match up between Microsoft this generation do you truly believe that Sony would risk trying to change their winning singleplayer formula to live service games? No. They did it because they became arrogant and stopped being afraid of Xbox.

It really has been the most legendary showcase/event season since E3 was still fully around and thriving. If anyone genuinely thinks "gaming sucks now" they're clearly just falling out of love with the hobby and blames it on the industry/devs to cope rather than admitting it.
This year's June gaming showcases has been nothing short of legendary, This may have been the best E3 season in a decade. Xbox, Nintendo, SGF, PlayStation, they all cooked and delivered amazing shows, not a single one of them missed. It's mindboggling to me that some people look at this and think the future of gaming is "bleak", I truly believe we are entering a new golden age where big, exciting games are coming out on a near monthly basis, we are so far past the live-services plague and "SP is dying" discourse of the late 2010s, and have a more exciting line-up of games than pretty much ever before. I am so happy to be a gamer who actually loves playing video games. Here are all the games that made this year's E3 season for me: - God of War Laufey - Resident Evil Veronica - Persona 6 - Halo Campaign Evolved - Persona 4 Revival - Wolverine - Gears of War E-Day - The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - ILL - Onimusha - Until Dawn 2 - Control Resonant - Exodus - Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced - Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis - Rayman Legends Retold - Silent Hill Townfall - The Wolf Among Us 2 - Metro 2039 - The Last Ronin TMNT - Stellar Blade 2 - Crossfire - Mafia The Old Country DLC - 007 First Light DLC - Blood Message - Attack on Titan 3 - The Blood of Dawnwalker - Final Fantasy 7 Revelation - Fable - State of Decay 3 - Dragon's Dogma 2 Dark Arisen - Kingdom Hearts 4 - Resonance A Plague Tale I aim to cover and hopefully review every single game I just listed, I don't think I've ever been looking forward to THIS many games ever before. Stay tuned!

I have near 60 (officially announced) games/DLCs in my wishlist coming out that I fully plan to get day 1. Other than the price increases, layoffs and the overall internet crying about every single game being "woke" the industry is fully thriving in terms of actual great games.

Find this interesting. - Both studios are the tech wizards at PS/Xbox. - Both studios went silent after reveal. - Both cancelled 1 game this gen that cost them resources time. E-Day got a first real look 4 months before release. I can see Intergalactic doing the same

To be clear. I'm not comparing quality of the studios, scale of the game, budgets, quality of the actual game itself etc. I just find it interesting how both top tier 1st party studios of Playstation/Xbox has had somewhat similar paths this generation.

Don't get hung up on the "4 months before" part. I'm saying I could see them waiting to do something big later, to fully show what the game is and win the internet over, rather than releasing a 3 minute trailer that won't be enough to do any major impact to the hate it's getting.
