Our @CVME_Huskies 1st graders had a blast using the EDP to build bigger and bigger cup towers. Over the course of the class period, they brainstormed, designed, built, tested, redesigned, and rebuilt numerous times. Loved seeing them reach new heights in the STEM Lab!

Using limited materials and their engineering acumen, our @CVME_Huskies 5th graders designed and built these awesome lookout towers, all of which were able to withstand moderate wind and were over 30 centimeters tall!

The @CVME_Huskies Outclass Team wheeled all of our SMART Panels into the gym today & had classes in each grade level rotate around the room to help construct our Respect Agreements. It was a wonderful way to see literally all of our Huskies today and set everyone up for success!

These 4th grade @CVME_Huskies coded their micro:bits to make a fun digital version of Hot Potato. They learned how to create a timer variable in the program and how to use a repeat loop and wait block to make the timer count down to zero.

.@CVME_Huskies 4th graders helped break in our new micro:bits. They coded each micro:bit to function as a randomized dice 🎲 & then competed head to head in a dice war. They also coded the A & B buttons on the micro:bit to change the LED light to a 😊 for a win & a ☹️ for a loss.
