Thank you to all of the amazing volunteers taking part in our wall washing program. From March to November, 30 groups numbering more than 400 people #volunteer their time to carefully scrub & rinse the veterans memorials on the National Mall. #WashingtonDC πΊπΈ

I just want one full day per week for lesson planning and collaborating. And 90 minutes per day to give students feedback and communicate with students and families.
Then Iβd be where I want to be as a teacher.

Working on this timeline notebook for students to keep track of chronology as we study #ushistory thematically this year. For each time period they will complete: gist, events, geography, faces, student choice (fashion, music, etc.). Any suggestions? #sschat #ushistory

Brainstorming transitioning to thematic this year for USH. I want to create a digital interactive notebook that's a timeline to help Ss understand chronology even in a thematic approach.

Ss will add info as we go through each thematic unit. Each slide/era or decade could include 6 word summary of gist, faces, events, and maybe a student choice category (music, fashion, sports) of that era.
