My mom is celebrating a milestone birthday! She’s overcome a lot of adversity. She didn’t get the childhood she deserved; however, 2 lunch ladies took notice of my mom and her siblings. These ladies impacted her life forever more. If you work in a school, THANK A LUNCH LADY today

Wow! That was fun! I spent my afternoon talking with Experimental Condensed Matter Physicist, Robert Streubel. ONE of the highlights was when we shifted from science to philosophy while discussing the value of time vs money.

When evaluating the value of your career, do not solely measure its importance based off your salary. Money is something that can be gained & lost. It’s time that is truly valuable. We are constantly losing time. Make sure your time is spent doing something exciting & fulfilling.

#STEM in a nutshell: A scientist’s curiosity creates new discoveries. They gift these discoveries to engineers who develop new technologies for society. Math is the common language shared between both fields.

You may call these people my colleagues, but I consider them family. Over the years, we’ve endured marriages, divorces, babies born, and loss of life together. We leaned on each other during hardships and celebrated successes. Each of them shaped me into the teacher I am today.

I teach the science behind a rainbow; however, I can’t help but see the symbolism and message being said today. It’s the last work day for teachers. We needed a rainbow 🌈

Without question - I’m going to miss this STEM class next year. 🎶 🎸 Not that you’re worried, but they are working hard on designing NetZero homes.

Dr. Knoepfler’s advice for life long learners, “It’s not about having the right answers. It’s about ASKING the right questions because then you’ll have all the answers you need.”

Lessons from COVID @nadertwal A title doesn’t make you a leader. We learned that a pandemic doesn’t care about your resume or power. We found answers came from people who were closest to the problems. A leader catalyzes the response in the area they stand - no matter their title

A message the community needs to hear. @wadewhitehead quoted “Inertia states a body in motion stays in motion. The best educators in the world are always moving forward and seeking improvement.” ♥️Let’s remember not a single educator stood still this year. They summited mountains
