High intelligence often comes with heightened pattern recognition. You start noticing social masks, forced conversations, performative friendships, hidden motives, emotional immaturity, and energy that feels draining instead of nourishing. Many highly intelligent people also have more active nervous systems, deeper inner worlds, and lower tolerance for superficial stimulation, so solitude can feel safer than constantly shrinking themselves to fit environments that don't feel aligned.
why do highly intelligent people mostly live in isolation and don't always mingle with regular people ??

Post-play depression is something that remains fully ignored in #RugbyKE, A very short thread on this, In a sport that barely pays, subjects athletes to high intensity environments week in and out, Post-play depression is a silent ticking time bomb within the rugby fraternity

Athletes make a lot of assumptions while playing, One is, that as long as you are playing, you are healthy. Let's normalize having frequent physical check-ups, Yes, they do cost money, but, they are more of a necessity when your body is subjected to high intensity environments

It's a tough week for both RugbyUG and RugbyKE, But, it is also Men's mental health awareness month. Check on that athlete, be sure to keep your mental state steady, be it off the field or on it. Check on that friend, they may not give you details, but it does go a long way.

I doubt it. They now use RAWC to build depth & "reintroduce" players. Their top players focus on elite test matches, WXV & World Cup. One thing is clear. KE & UG are waaaay ahead of other African countries in 15s. SA is light years ahead though & gap is not about to be bridged.
South Africa might need to bring their real Springbok Women team for the next Rugby Africa Cup just to remind us that they are still undisputed queens of the continent. Because each passing year since 2019, the score margins have reduced dramatically.
