Earlier this week it was so hot I could barely breathe outside. Today there was a meteor (that I thankfully missed) and later a 10-minute hailstorm. . the wind, rain, and hail combo had me speechless. This was the wildest weather week ever.

In 2016, three years after leaving middle school, I heard my name called in the mall. It was one of my favorite middle school students. Nine years later I've attended many of her performances and all her graduations! Yesterday Skyler "mastered it". Congrats!

Tonight, @APSMAJ_Elem held a camping themed literacy night! Students and parents enjoyed a camp meal, Novel Effect read alouds, a book tasting, phonics stations, a visit from the local @fulcolibrary, and the greatest forever book giveaway ever!!
