In my first two years of coaching, I had a coach, and what I appreciated most about her were her thoughtful questions, purposeful pauses and some of the resources & protocols she introduced me to for examining my work & impact.

#coachbetter Challenge Day 3:
As a coach, to build relationships w/ teachers I haven't worked w/ before, I try to find an opportunity to learn w/ them at PD or another mtg, and I take that opportunity to actively listen, filing away details I can harken back to at a later date.

As a teacher, I loved having coaches co-teach w/ me & model new strategies. I also loved planning collaboratively w/ a coach.
As a coach, continually building relationships & being visible by being around have been key to getting into classrooms.

Love! Such an engaging visual representation of a historical figure. You "get" so much info from so little language, which means students have to be precise & concise--and they build their #digitalliteracy skills too by finding, consuming, creating, sharing! #AdobeEduCreative
