So hyped to announce that I’m partnering with @VivaOxnard to award $1,200 in mini-grants to encourage & support cultural representation in Oxnard classrooms. Teachers can pay local Oxnard talent/artists to visit their classrooms to talk/do a workshop abt culture & empowrment.✊🏽📚

I’m pretty convinced that the #NCTE22 experience for me means being in a room with or casually passing educators whose work I respect and me gushing on the inside but playing it cool on the outside so that I don’t embarrass myself.

I've been using @PlayBlooket to do the #FastandCurious @eduprotocols and we are seeing great success in my HS Environmental Science classes! These kids are killing it and I am having so much fun! See their F&C scores and their Friday Quiz scores!
