28 years ago I opened @jaleo on the corner of 7th & E, Washington DC A year ago, we temporarily closed and became a community kitchen I wasn’t sure when we’d reopen...I felt hopeless. A year later, I have more hope than ever knowing how restaurants came together to feed America
