The Americans weren't far behind with the Shooting Star either.
And the allied jets were much more reliable. They had a more conservative design sure and the swept wings would be the lasting legacy of the 262 but other than that the 262s fame comes down to having targets.

There wasn't much left of the Luftwaffe at that point. So they didn't risk Germany capturing any of their jets by using them over german territory against german fighters.

Yet Russias reaction to the continued genocidal aggression of Azerbaijan against Armenia is "Lol, LMAO even, you know we actually kinda like Azerbaijan better than you."

If you're in a mutual defence alliance with Russia it means either Russia will attack you, or Russia will do nothing when someone else attacks you.

Now if you actually watch that series then you know they open every episode with interviews of the actual soldiers depicted and even 60 years later they sometimes cry talking about this war because it fucked them up that much. This was bad. Noone should ever go through this.

To destroy a countries ability to wage war you have to kill them untill they stop or collapse their economy. International sanctions can achieve this with much less death and destruction than ukrainian drones. You prefer the blood bowl of continued warfare.

I have always, and will continue, to stand with the Ukrainian people and unequivocally condemn Putin’s illegal and brutal invasion. I voted against the Ukraine Support Act because of its inclusion of broad economic sanctions. Time and again, sanctions like these fail to achieve their stated goals while inflicting real suffering on ordinary people. Opposing Russian aggression does not require us to support policies that punish ordinary civilians who did not ask for this war.
The foreign policy establishment continues to return to the same failed playbook and expects different results. Economic sanctions fail to achieve their desired goals and in most cases are counterproductive to ending war.
I remain committed to supporting diplomacy, peace, and justice for the Ukrainian people affected by this horrific conflict. But I could not in good conscience support legislation that wages economic warfare on innocent civilians.
