Marriage isn't forced in Islam, but it is highly recommended. Allah (SWA) and the Prophet (SAW) encourage all Muslims who are fortunate enough to get married, because it is one of the greatest acts of ibadah in Islam it completes half of your deen.
Do you realize how monumental that is? Half of your religion, fulfilled through marriage. And if you look closely, marriage is a mercy that favours women the most. After marriage, a woman’s path to Jannah is made simple: obey her husband in what is right, maintain her five daily prayers, and fast Ramadan when it comes. That’s it.
Meanwhile, the husband carries the weight working tirelessly to provide for her daily needs and beyond, for the rest of his life. Yet some Gen Z women today see obedience to their husband as a loss of identity, not as part of a divine arrangement that protects and honors them.
