I am tired. Tired of war. Tired of anger. Tired of death. Tired of lives lost. Tired of hope destroyed. Tired of unnecessary grief. Tired of the destruction of well-being. Tired of forced migration. Tired of tears. Tired of children living in tents, denied the childhood they deserve. I am tired of the political excuses offered for war. I am tired of racial hatred. I am tired of human lust for power wrapped up in theocracy. I am tired of talk of defence that excuses aggression. I am tired of biased reporting I am tired of being told that people who have died on one side of a dispute are lives lost and that on the other, they are just killed. I am tired of a failure to recognise that any life lost unnecessarily is just that: it is a life lost unnecessarily. I am tired of the belief that war will ever solve anything. I am tired of the assumption that after war everything will go back to normal. I am tired of the cost of conflict always being borne by anyone but those who started it. I am tired of those who think we don’t have a duty of care to everyone, whoever they are, wherever they come from, whatever they believe, whatever their skin colour, whatever their gender, whatever their age. I am tired of those who think that others don’t matter. Most of all, I am tired of those who destroy hope, I live in hope. Hope of a better day. Hope of a better life for everyone. Hope that I might live to see that. Hope that everyone might then share hope. Is that too much to hope for?

They want us to believe the terrorists are the ones destroying the weapons rather than using the weapons.
Another insane body-cam video from the Filton 6 trial showing the violent Elbit security guards at work. This one shows guard Angelo Volante brandishing a sledgehammer, repeatedly screaming at acquitted defendants Fatema Zainab Rajwani and Charlotte Head to "get the fuck down," even after they had already complied with police instructions. The pair are holding their hands up quietly and clearly pose no threat.

I still cannot get over how this is allowed to happen in β€˜Great’ Britain, a supposed bastion of democracy, the rule of law, human rights, the right to a fair trial and justice. It is truly frightening.
The British legal system allows for activists to be sentenced as terrorists without a terrorism charge on the whim of a judge, who kept the jury in the dark about their conviction for criminal damage being repackaged at sentencing, gagged the defendants on presenting motive, gagged the defence on referring to jury equity in closing or from informing the jury that the judge cannot force them to convict, ruled that the terms β€˜genocide’ and β€˜ethnic cleansing’ could not be used in court, ordered the defendants’ own notebooks and writings redacted to remove references to Elbit’s arms supply to Israel, dismissed an abuse of process application which documented meetings between Elbit, Home Office, Attorney General and the Israeli Embassy concerning the prosecutions, remanded three of the four convicted defendants in custody between verdict and sentence without support from the prosecution, and restricted the entire British press for the better part of a year from reporting on his own pre-trial rulings on the terrorism connection, the restrictions on defence motive evidence and that he referred the defence for contempt after his closing address in the first trial, a first in British legal history. I’m struck by the fact that very few in the politico-media elite of this country seem to care just how much this degree of subservience to and connivance with murderous foreign interests (the United States and its genocidal satellite state) undermines the political legitimacy of the judiciary and the state as a whole. In fact, those who don’t actively support this (too many to count) seem perfectly happy in their complacency.

RIP David Hockney (9 July 1937 – 11 June 2026) In 2011, I took a photo of my husband and me and our cat, using a timer. I entitled it, "Mr and Mrs Marshall and Henry." It was based on the original artwork, "Mr and Mrs Clark and Percy" by David Hockney (1970 / 71)" #DavidHockney

This also applies to ex-pats in Spain, who for some reason we don’t label as migrants
🚨 Pope Leo XIV has sent a WARNING to migrants, telling them how to behave when they arrive into new countries: 'Learn its language, to respect its laws, to get to know its customs, to participate in communal life and to offer your gifts with gratitude'

Please read. These are scary times for the UK β€˜Justice’ system.
I spent all day in Woolwich Crown Court yesterday for the Filton activists' sentencing hearing with my colleague @daniaakkad. The court heard that the Terrorism Act was never intended to cover direct action protest. It heard that all of the defendants had been cleared of violent intent and sentencing them as terrorists would mark a historic first for charges of criminal damage. It heard that the Suffragettes, who did "a bit of smashing themselves", would have been labelled as terrorists but have now been vindicated by history. It heard the activists' goal was to stop the supply chain of drones and weaponry to Israel as it commits genocide in Gaza. It heard that attaching a terrorism connection to a case without it ever being heard by a jury was unconstitutional and posed a threat to the criminal justice system itself. It heard that the "terrorism connection" has been disproportionately used against minority groups and those advocating for them while not being used for neo-Nazis and white supremacists, including the man who killed Jo Cox MP. It heard that the law has been reinterpreted since the action took place, meaning the activists could have had no idea that what they did could have been caught up in terrorism laws at the time of the protest. It heard that the prosecution submitted key evidence just eight days before the hearing, giving the defence no time to review it or even discuss it with their clients. Despite all of this, Judge Jeremy Johnson, who has already tried to refer the defence's lead barrister for contempt of court and been forced to apologise for it, sentenced the defendants as terrorists. The judgment was handed down within minutes, indicating Judge Johnson had already made his mind up before the hearing had begun. Being in court yesterday felt akin to witnessing a colonial crime: punishing activists with terrorism offences in order to set a precedent that taking direct action to stop a UK-backed genocide will not be tolerated.
