It’s #WorldASDay tomorrow
AS patients like me wait an average of 8 years to get a diagnosis - risking irreversible damage to our spines.
This delay does more than harm our health. @NASSexercise have shown it causes a £3.1bn a year hit to the U.K economy as we work and earn less.
AS is more common than Parkinson’s and ME combined, but 9 in 10 people know nothing about it.
I’ve written for @Daily_Express on how reducing the delay to diagnosis will give thousands their lives back and help get Britain working again.

Sadly, it's nothing out of the ordinary. I've met people who've waited 30 years for an AS diagnosis.
That's why in September, I'm climbing 8 peaks in 8 days to raise money for @NASSexercise.
The more people who know about inflammatory arthritis, the less time patients will wait for the treatment they need.
