My heart goes out to all the hard working coaches that are more qualified than Rick but didn’t get the job because they aren’t related to the team’s superstar. Outrage
The 53-year drought is over! The New York Knicks are NBA Champions!

I thought this was centel, bro thinks he's Lebron If it weren't for the refs, these games wouldn't even be close (still offering them free LASIK)
“Everybody knows we're gonna do it.” - Victor Wembanyama on the Spurs potentially completing a 3-1 comeback

Wemby’s Net Rating in Finals: 1st Q: 43.1 2nd Q: -11.3 3rd Q: -4.1 4th Q: -14.3 Fatigue is an obvious concern here. He’s fresh in Q1…and devastating. Wears down in Q2, catches breath at halftime, struggles in Q4. Playing 40 mpg in Finals vs 29 mpg regular season: rough

They said he should just shut up and let others praise him… this was the most unnecessary LeBron stray I’ve heard in a while, like why does a team comeback remind you of 22yo Bron going 1v5? Just so lame
Kenny: "Chuck, doesn't this surpass the 30 points in a row by LeBron?" Charles Barkley: "Yes. That was the most amazing thing I've seen, until this. When LeBron put on that show in Detroit that night. This topped that." Charles Barkley saying that this Knicks comeback surpasses Lebron's 29pts straight vs Detroit (ECF Game 5)

I feel like OG has risen to the point where we should probably talk about his name. Is it really just OG? Is that short for something? Is it a nickname? Whats going on there? Never cared before but suddenly it feels relevant. He has arrived

Wemby 3-13 from the field and 1-4 on freethrows in the second half. His efficiency plummeting as the games go on has been a theme. Going to be very interesting watching him develop over the next few years. He has a long way to go offensively, which should be fun for all of us.

They are not going to like this! They are going to say let someone else say it. You need to be validated by another person! Hmmm. I wonder how many people have walked the earth waiting for validation and didn’t get it and developed insecurities ? Ali said I am the Greatest 👀
LeBron says he’s not taking anyone in NBA history over himself “I’m not taking nobody over me. There’s no question. But I think Mike will say the same thing. Rest his soul, Kobe will say the same thing. Magic will say the same thing. Bird will say the same thing. Shaq could say the same thing. The late great Wilt. Kareem. I don’t think none of us are going to take somebody else. If there’s a general manager and he’s eyeballing all of us on a baseline, with the No. 1 pick, it’s gonna be hard not to take me, champ.” (Via time.com/collection/time100-…)

I’m sure Bron would love to sit back and see the priase, but like the rest of us he watches 24/7 media smear him for the last 20 years. The louder you are about your lebron hate the more clicks you get. These clowns don’t deserve the energy
"See, when we get to this point, and this is the problem that I have with Bron, is that instead of letting other people glorify you or give you your flowers or a guy like me come on television that been through the trenches with you since childhood, let me come on and tell the world why you're the GOAT. You sit back and just accept the flowers. We don't never hear Jordan say it." Kendrick Perkins on why LeBron shouldn't be calling himself the GOAT (per First Take)

Meanwhile, Jordan:

MJ: “I’D LOVE TO SEE LARRY BIRD AS A BULL” MJ would never “team up” with great players, right? He wanted to “BEAT the best, not join them.” So when the Celtics were looking at trading Bird in 1990…what did MJ say? “We’ll take him.” 😳 He even offered to take a pay cut. 1/5

Funny because we got the horniest man in american history, the dude who quit mid-contract multiple times with mafia gambling debts, and the guy who got AIDs at 30. Those are the players this ‘GM’ would take before the always healthy 21x all nba, model citizen demigod. I’m so sure
If I was the GM doing an All-Time draft I'd go... 1- Wilt 2- Jordan 3- Magic 4- LeBron 5- is hard between (Shaq, Kobe and Bird). Leaning toward Bird. People forget the Celtics were trash before he got there. 32-50 and 29-53. Bird comes & they win 61 first year.
