During this time of school shut down crisis, student connectivity and attendance are interconnected measures of equity and access. With near 100% digital connectivity, @MDCPS’ average student attendance is now at 93%; with no traditional schools below 77% and only two below 80%.

Teachers plates can take no more. They currently have five jobs. Teacher, curriculum developer, IT for students, therapist for parents struggling, & office worker. All while trying to survive the pandemic w/ their family too. Let’s all give teachers grace & support right now.
