Yall act like these were 3 year olds, left on the steps of an orphanage, hungry, in the pouring rain. The guy playing QB is a college age grown up, making $3 million this year, while playing with his best friends.
His old coach thought he had a better opportunity. Wanted to coach these guys through the playoffs. New job was willing to wait for him to see it through. Coach was willing to wait to start the new job. He tried to see it through. The only party that said no was Ole Miss. And that’s understandable too.
It was fun watching them make a run. They’re a really good team, too. But let’s stop with the abandonment/orphans/poor kids/left to die alone narrative. They competed their ass off. Tip of the cap.
