** Empowering Women and Ensuring Clean Water Access in Rural India - Join the Movement** 💦 💧 Dear CC Community, We are thrilled to introduce you to a transformative initiative that not only addresses critical issues in rural India but also champions the cause of female empowerment – the “Clean Water Initiative”! Join us in this empowering journey where clean water access and women's leadership go hand in hand. **Project Overview:** The project is a visionary project that is designed to accomplish two crucial goals: 1. **Clean Water Access:** Many rural communities in India face daily challenges due to a lack of clean and safe drinking water, which poses health risks and hinders progress. Our project is dedicated to changing this by implementing state-of-the-art technology for water quality monitoring. 2. **Empowering Female Entrepreneurs:** We firmly believe that empowering women is the cornerstone of community development. Through our initiative, we aim to uplift and empower female entrepreneurs in rural areas to lead the charge in providing clean water access. **The Team behind the initiative:** - @cryptomarie2023, Mariya - @rushda08, Rashmin - @markda787 - @OpGhostforsure - @iLoveSpectra, tanny - @aerialiot, Justin **Our Vision:** We envision a future where every rural village in India enjoys clean water access, and where women take the helm in community development. **Project Components:** - Careful selection of a rural settlement in India. - Identification of the primary drinking water source. - Deployment of Helium IoT hotspots to establish an IoT network. - Installation of Lorawan sensors at the water source. - Real-time data transmission through the Helium IoT network. - Data display on the Aerial IoT console. - An alert system to notify the community of water quality issues. - Empowering female entrepreneurs to lead and sustain the project. **How is this initiative aligned with the cause of Crypto Chicks?** The Clean Water Initiative is a project that links several of the Crypto Chicks first principles together in one initiative. Empowerment through: •Tech & Innovation •Health •Inclusivity & Safe space •Education, Mentoring & Youth Engagement **Way forward:** The Crypto Chicks community will be invited to follow the process of this initiative and hopefully we can encouraged you to take action and get involved further on in the process. **When will we start?** The project is already in progress and the first Village Council where the project concept will be deployed and proved will be at Karnala Village Council encompassing over 5 village settlements. The project implementation will be done by Rashmin/@rushad08 who is born in Barapada(a village inside the Council jurisdiction) . Rashmin will be implementing the technology in the Village Council Jurisdiction and documenting the process on the way. She will also be educating people on how the technology is used to warn people when the water quality is bad.
