@HealthierNF is hosting the 5th Annual Walk the Falls event on Saturday, September 18th!
The route starts at the @NFUGRR and goes around the Niagara Gorge trail to Niagara Falls State Park, and ends back at the Heritage Center.

I started saying “enslaved people” instead of “slaves,” and you should consider making this change too.
Slave is an identity; it says, “This is who they are.”
Enslaved is a circumstance; it says, “This is what was done to them.”
The language we use matters.
