The social media echo chamber is strong these days. Reflective of many things, none really good. Tends to assume understanding of the other side's position, and that the problem lies in the other side not understanding or listening. Perhaps spend a day flipping those assumptions.

Extraordinarily, Deep Space Nine made it's debut 25 years ago. It may have been a little uneven in the beginning but it became wonderful and is still the most ambitious incarnation of Star Trek with the most complex characters and some of the best writing Trek has ever seen.
