It’s #BlackHistoryMonth and I want to share highlights from black authors on books focused on #DEIB. Feel free to do the same. #DEIBwNG

For the record: You cannot have an abortion in the 9th month. You cannot have an abortion after birth. If we didn’t keep banning books, maybe we wouldn’t have to clear that up. #Debate2024

I agree. Most people aren’t prepared for the response, if it isn’t positive. We shouldn’t ask unless truly sincere.

"How are you?" is thrown around too casually. As a German, I'm not used to exchanging pleasantries with strangers such as cashiers like that. It feels kind of fake to ask a question that no one really wants an honest answer to, but I guess it's part of American social norms.

September marks the end of summer, the start of the school year and for me, my personal new year (Sept 2nd). When my birthday comes around, I reflect on life and write down goals. This year I’ve decided to celebrate myself more and share what I’ve been up to.

Last week marked my first board meeting as the new #VicePresident of the @TempleUniv Fox School of Business Alumni Association. When I was elected to the board in 2021, I was Co-Chair of the Mentorship Committee and served on the Governance Committee.

After only a year and a half on the board, I was elected to my new post. It is definitely an honor. #board #boardservice #servantleadership #boarddiversity #leadwithimpact #FSBAA #TempleUniversity #TUAlum

This is not a fad. Let’s stop treating #DEI like one. Switching gears to ā€œfocusā€ on other things will eventually highlight our systematic issues in a more profound way. #Diversity, #Equity, and #Inclusion is just as important.
ā€œMentions of diversity, equity and inclusion on earnings calls and at conferences among Russell 3,000 Index companies fell by 54% from a year ago in the third quarter to the lowest since 2018, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.ā€ fortune.com/2023/09/10/diver…

Remember when we were told they weren't opposing the teaching of Black history, just "CRT"? And how many dismissed those of us who said these laws were anti-history laws, and anti-Black? Perhaps one day folks will listen to those who know. thedailybeast.com/desantis-b…
