One important revision to the Protect College Sports Act is noted here. Institutional NIL/rev share deals would no longer have to be reviewed by the CSC for valid business purpose and range of compensation. Would have been a massive change to the terms of the House settlement.
In other news, The Athletic obtained a copy of the revised Cruz/Cantwell bill. Notable changes. Requirements for funding women's/OLY sports by schools no longer tied to amending SBA/pooling TV rights. Institutional NIL deals (rev share) do not need to go through a clearinghouse.

Mike Brown was fired four times — twice by the same team. He could have walked away bitter. Instead, he kept learning, kept showing up, and kept believing his story was not finished. Now, he’s a champion. Sometimes rejection is not the end of the road. It is preparation for the right opportunity. Your setback may simply be setting the stage for your comeback.

A lesson for all of us. Their fans do this too.
🚨 Japan left their dressing room spotless after their match against the Netherlands. 👏 A tradition built on respect, discipline, and responsibility. ❤️🇯🇵

The highest performers don’t waste energy on things they can’t control. They focus on two things: their effort and their attitude. When adversity hits, don’t look for a shortcut back. Just keep chipping away. One play. One response. One step at a time.

This isn’t normal. In today’s environment, this type of connection just doesn’t exist anymore. Somehow, our ball guys have done something extraordinary. Come on @BaseballUGA - Hunker Down!

“The sport doesn't leave you. You leave the sport. And when that happens — or when anything that defined you disappears — you find out fast how much of yourself was actually yours.” @ColkyJonov10

What am I holding onto that’s actually holding me back? A grudge. A fear. A past failure. Need to control everything. The story you’ve been telling yourself. Sometimes the breakthrough isn’t in getting more. Go to your higher power. It’s in letting go. #Faith #CastTheWorry
