“Barakah” is the idea that good will multiply. It’s why I’ve never believed success is a limited resource. When you share knowledge, make introductions, collaborate, and help others succeed, the good grows and eventually returns to you in some form. I’ve experienced it first hand, it is the key to creating abundance in all that you do. No one is made poor by giving.

My parents always told me I should go into tech instead of education, because teachers don't earn much. But I still chose teaching because I wanted impact. I wanted to help shape the next generation and change lives. Turns out, they saw something in me before I could fully see it myself. I did find my way to tech, just in the most roundabout way possible. Teaching led me here. Every classroom, every student, every gap I kept running into became a part of my path. Life brings you exactly where you’re meant to be, but only after making sure you take every necessary stop along the way. 🚀 #TeachersofX #teacherswhobuild #replit #edtech

Two teacher moms from two different countries connected through a @Replit Buildathon and discovered a shared passion for building educational apps. In our first episode, we talk about the journey from educators to builders, what we’ve learned about AI, app development, and why teachers and moms should see themselves as builders of solutions—not just users of technology. 🎧 Watch, listen, and subscribe for future episodes at classroom2code.com Available now on YouTube and Spotify! #ClassroomToCode #Replit #EdTech #BuildInPublic #AIinEducation #WomenWhoBuild #ReplitEdu

When I spoke out against the Gaza genocide, a bunch of midwit VCs ganged up on me both in public and tried to hurt me in private too. Many of those who stood by me were also VCs. Just the better ones. Both morally, and in return profile. The best way to avoid sociopaths is to have them self select out of your life by standing for your beliefs.
I was once pitching in a board room at a top 3 VC firm for a $15M Series A. 12 people in the meeting. One of the GPs fully fell asleep. Out cold for 30 minutes. Nobody acknowledged it. Everyone just kept going. I kept presenting my Series A slides to an unconscious man in a Herman Miller chair and somehow that was considered normal. That's venture capital. You might fly across the country to perform for people who may or may not be conscious. It's a dance. And sometimes you lead and sometimes you follow and sometimes your partner is unconscious. If you're raising right now, just know: every founder has a story like this. The process is weird. The power dynamic is weird. You're not crazy for thinking it's weird. No one talks about it because they want to continue raising. But I'm happy to stick my neck out there. It is weird.

One of the biggest mistakes in education is treating intelligence like it is one thing, measured one way. Some people see patterns. Some build. Some create. Some lead. Some solve what others miss. Standardized systems only reward a narrow slice of human ability. The future should be about recognizing unique strengths, not forcing everyone to climb the same tree. #Education #AIinEducation #Neurodiversity #EdTech @Noni_Bamboo

My husband is from Sudan, and after the war, his cousin came to me with a question that stayed with me: How do kids keep learning when war has closed schools, displaced families, cut power, and made internet unreliable? So I built Silah Online - an offline-first learning network that pairs Sudanese teachers with Sudanese students, built for real constraints on the ground: Downloadable lessons. A public lesson library. Live sessions when connection allows. One home beyond scattered WhatsApp groups. Silah means connection in Arabic, but it also carries the deeper idea of ṣilat ar-raḥm: keeping the bonds of family and kinship alive. Because even through war and displacement, the bond between teachers and students should stay unbroken. Created by Modal Education, run by Sudanese teachers - Built with @Replit @amasad @Replit @MannyBernabe @raymmar @brmiddle #SilahOnline #Sudan #EducationInEmergencies #OfflineFirst #EdTech #BuiltWithReplit #replitedu #BuiltWithReplit #Replit #TeachersWhoBuild

For years, I had ideas in my head that I couldn’t actually build. In my @Replit Edu spotlight, I shared how I went from adapting lessons by hand as a teacher to building the tools I kept wishing existed for my students. Teachers are already building every day. We design around student needs, modify materials, use multiple modalities, troubleshoot and create solutions with whatever we have. But now, AI literacy has changed what's possible for me and my students. It gave me a way to build from inside the classroom experience, not outside of it. And I think that’s where the future of EdTech gets really exciting: when the people closest to the problem can build the solution. A special thank you to the Replit Edu team for having me on today. If you missed it, you can watch my talk here :) @amasad @MannyBernabe @raymmar @brmiddle @Franciscocrz #ReplitEdu #ModalEducation #AIinEducation #EdTech #Accessibility #DeafEducation #TeacherTools #AILiteracy #Replit #BuildInPublic

“Mama, memorizing Surahs is boring and hard!” I resisted the urge to tell her this is just how it is… because I remember how I felt as a kid.  As an ADHD mom, I understand the need for learning to be fun. As a teacher, I know what it should look like. As a builder in 2026, I can do it in one day. I built Ayah Quest and had her testing it within hours - a research-based, gamified journey from Makkah to Madina with a stop for each Surah. My kid loves it, and now kids I’ve never met are using it.  It’s free! Try it out at ayah.quest :)  #EdTech #ADHD #LearningThroughPlay #VibeCoding #MuslimMoms #BuildInPublic #replit #gamification

Choosing @Replit for my business was about values alignment as much as tech. Products reflect the worldview of the people behind them. You can feel when a founder believes in creating more equity, lowering barriers to entry and giving people access instead of gatekeeping. That’s why founder alignment matters. Their values show up in what they build. Shoutout @amasad @HayaOdeh
