When the AIDS crisis threatened the world, Labour leadership helped break pharma monopolies on HIV drugs. Millions of lives were saved through global access to affordable medicines. We must do the same today and demand Boris Johnson stops blocking the #TRIPSWaiver #WorldAidsDay

Black women are disproportionately impacted by lockdown & COVID-19. Forced to take on childcare responsibilities & many are key workers forced to work during lockdown. We made the feminist case for monitoring the impact of COVID-19. Feminist cannot be silent about #bellymujinga

Anti Semitism has no place in our party. But it seems when black members and MPs call out racism in the Party, not only are they questioned and second guessed, they’re it insulted by own staff as well. Huh, who’d have guessed it? @DawnButlerBrent had a point, as evidenced here.

On Sunday I lost my dad to COVID- 19, he was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, brother & friend. As a family we want to share our story so other NHS staff & the public understand the severity of the disease & how he was neglected as dedicated NHS staff member of 20 years.

If I wear a shirt that celebrates black women... i don’t need you telling me “all women should be celebrated” That goes without saying. Why can’t black women celebrate who we are without other people getting uncomfortable?

Different people, different places, different boards, one message; Stop the deportation flights to Jamaica @ukhomeoffice. They are ill-judged, ill-considered, irresponsible and all too often, illegal. Windrushers and their decendents have Human Rights. Respect them, respect us

I’ve been kicked out of the Newham Labour Party Facebook Group for asking an admin to remove an antisemitic post. The post referred to Lisa Nandy as a ‘zionist stooge.’ Antisemitic post is still there; but the Jewish member who complained has been chucked out. *sigh*

This is disgusting from The Times. You may as well of written “I don’t date black women” because that is what this means. You’re fuelling racism by allowing this.

What I'd like to know is out of how many? One faction is claiming all MPs will be triggered that's obvz not true. Why isn't this number higher? Another faction now conveniently remembers women and "BAME" but have been silent about that lack of Black candidates selected. A mess.
