Our hearts are broken in a million pieces this morning. 😢Our big boy, Aslan, passed away suddenly at some time very early in the morning. He had been cuddling with Dan, then passed away in Dan's spot in bed. There was no warning at all, his paw had a tumor but that wasn't a danger, I suspect cardiac arrest, he was about 12 and pretty large.
The fact that he refused to diet is part of the reason we had him. He chose us. He was having issues adapting to a new baby and another cat at his former home, they put him on a diet and that was the last straw apparently. Kept coming back here every time they brought him back, given the behavior issues he was having up there we all decided to let him have his choice.
Such a character, friendliest cat, our big boy... the mouse photo there wasn't staged. He caught it in the yard, and putting together mouse = food = goes in dish, did just that!
Please no DMs for awhile, not sure I'll be posting too much at least for a bit, I've already been struggling with a lot here and am not in a good place, not feeling social, apologies.

Saturday the 13th was my one year "ankleversary". A year full of ups and downs, setbacks and elation➡️disappointment, but I still spent the weekend out where I needed to be, no social media, no contact. Hey, at least it was better than how I spent last June 13🤷♀️😅

This system will generate rainfall totals of 4"-8" with isolated 12" totals through Thu from the mid to upper TX Coast through much of LA, central & southern portions of MS & AL, and a portion of the FL Panhandle. This could generate dangerous to life-threatening flash flooding.

There isn't really great agreement between the models on the heaviest areas, a few have the worst focused in southern AL and the west tip of the FL panhandle. Also seen runs push more north and develop more over land. So be alert, if any question.
