Then, there is some smoke aloft from the Pika Fire near Yosemite in addition to possible smoke from a Rx Burn in the Stanislaus NF and maybe even a bit from wildfires in Oregon, per HRRR smoke modeling. Air quality remains good overall. Updates at fire.airnow.gov. (2/2)

Plenty of haze across the Truckee Meadows today from a combination of factors. Dust was lofted off playas yesterday evening from thunderstorm outflows. Our friends with @WashoeCountyAQ saw a spike in the PM10 readings, which is indicative of a dust outflow. (1/2)
