29 yrs ago today i became WPC 2504. Saw lots of stuff I wish I hadn't, smelt things I'd like to forget, climbed too many fences, got punched, got swore at most days, heard some last breaths. I changed stuff too, made life safer, saved a few, & held lots of very grateful hands.💙

Thinking of the family, those who attended scene, and everyone involved. I know the lengths your team will now go to.... RIP Little ones......

My heart goes out to the woman&her children, the family of those murdered, but also the officers&paramedics who attended the scene&the doctors&nurses who tried to save them. The trauma that professionals go through as they have to manage the horrors they see is unthinkable.
