I asked students to think about what a Great Classtoom looks like, sounds like and feels like. As usual, their thinking blew me away! "Sounds like pages turning" and "Feels like home" made my heart smile. What a great class to aspire to create together!💜

Precision in mathematical vocabulary is important. It's not necessary to use the formal word every single time. However, using informal words on a constant basis could lead to a barrier when encountering formal terminology at a later stage. Some problematic material on the right!
