Got a great idea to make an impact in the Cook Islands or Niue?
The U.S. Public Diplomacy Freedom 250 Grants Program is now open - supporting projects that strengthen partnerships and build local capacity across the Pacific.
What we’re looking for:
✅ Community-led, locally driven projects
✅ Ideas that boost economic opportunity, education, and trade links with the United States
✅ Initiatives that strengthen resilience- digital tech, maritime cooperation, emergency preparedness, and more
✅ All projects must include a clear American element - such as an American expert, organization, or cultural element.
Who can apply:
✅ NGOs, civil society, and not-for-profits
✅ Educational institutions
✅ Individuals
✅ Public international organizations and government institutions
💡 Funding available: USD $10,000–$50,000
📅 Applications close: July 15, 2026
