The only somewhat coherent argument I’ve seen is “what about blind/otherwise disabled people or kids” this inherently assumes that everyone is treated equally in the button pressing and someone can accidentally/unintentionally press the unintended choice

One of the biggest things to remember about AI is that it cannot truly do anything new, it can draw conclusions based on pre-existing information but it cannot be the pinnacle of its craft (ie. Artist) nor can it make something novel

Roblox is VERY predatory
- 30% transaction fee on platform
- Monetisation only payed in Robux (fluctuates in price) minimum $1K withdrawal amount (very high ceiling for most creators)
- Impossible for creators to export their work
- System relies on child developers, selling them dreams of making millions of $ whilst only top 1% does
- Creators only take home ~28% of total revenue after all costs including App Store fees

It also created as much carbon pollution as New York City, according to a new study.

For some broader context, the agriculture industry still accounts for roughly 70% of total water consumption and it actually pollutes the water (unlike datacenters which largely re-use the water and don’t pollute it) AI datacenters are still a small portion of total consumption.
