I got a service quote from local @Dodge dealer and it has 3 problems. 1 double billing labor where the same task has to be done to replace 2 parts they want labor twice to do it once; 1 unnecessary part, the seal comes with a new fuel pump but they added an a new seal as well...

And to replace the fuel pumps they quoted 6.2 hours labor with fuel tank removal, but challengers do not require the tank to be dropped, the pumps are accessible under the back seat and it takes 2 hours tops to replace them.

9 hours labor quoted on that work is just predatory, on the driveway I didn't exceed 5 hours working at Sunday pace.

No wonder they never see my car, I had already done water pump, thermostat, both fuel pumps and wiring connector. The grand total cost to me was $1200 where they manage to inflate a quote to 3900
