The hardest thing to say about your own organization is "we're one of many." @AyaMiyagotchi just said it for the EF, and from a positioning standpoint, it's the most credible move the Foundation could make right now. "EF is one of many nodes in Ethereum." The instinct in most foundations is to keep the founder's-table seat at the head, even when the table has grown. The braver move is to claim the seat that says: we built the first node, we're still here, and we're not the protocol. Primus inter pares is a better story than "central authority." It's also closer to what Ethereum actually is.

When a team that's been running liquid staking infrastructure on NEAR since 2021 decides to anchor your first validator pool, the trust is the actual headline. GetBlock is now live as a validator on @NEARProtocol, with @meta_pool delegating 500,542 $NEAR from day one. 99.7% endorsement reliability since launch. The numbers are good. The partnership is better. Official: getblock.io/blog/getblock-jo…

Every cycle, the same story: A protocol skips the audit because the quote was triple their treasury. They ship. They raise. They get drained. The post-mortem reads "should've audited." @hexens decided to stop watching this happen. Builder Support is open: full audits at one third the standard rate for pre-seed teams shipping their first product. Same auditors. Same report. Hexens already powers GetBlock's Token Risks API. Now they're closing the gap one tier down. hexens.io/pages/builder-supp…

Look, I'll say what I think every time I open a new DeFi site lately: it's all starting to look the same. Serif headers pastel gradients salesy copy that says everything and nothing. You can spot a Claude-built frontend in two seconds (I'm guilty of shipping a few myself). The worst thing is that we're getting used to it. A whole generation of users is being trained to recognize 'AI default' as what a crypto product is supposed to look like. And the longer that goes on, the harder it gets to remember what a real design point of view even feels like. I don't have a clean answer. Speed matters. Budgets matter. But I think we're quietly losing something, and 'everyone does it' isn't going to age well.

Proud of the team for shipping our first Web3 Infrastructure Report, and proud that we took the distillation route instead of chasing the category leaders on volume. 15 pages, under 3,000 words, seven chains, one quarter of development. The market has plenty of noise. We went the other way.
Our first State of Blockchain Clients report is here. The main theme for Q1 2026 is the rebuild of core infrastructure across every major chain: • Solana is rebuilding consensus from the ground up • Ethereum is sketching its 2030 roadmap • Bitcoin prioritizes quantum resistance • Base is breaking away from the OP Stack Find the full Q1 2026 State of Blockchain Clients report here: getblock.io/web3-infra-repor… See below for a few highlights.

Project Glasswing is the cleanest example I've seen in a while of principle and positioning doing the same work. Anthropic holds back its most powerful model on safety grounds and simultaneously gets Apple, Google, AWS, Microsoft, CrowdStrike, JPMorgan and ~40 others to publicly vouch for its judgment, right in the middle of the Pentagon's supply-chain fight with them. The point isn't that it's good marketing because it's ethical. It's that when the two line up, you don't have to pick. That's the play

Independent testing by @comparenodes confirms GetBlock led block propagation on OP Mainnet in 487 of 527 block-region observations vs 39 for Alchemy. That's a 92% leadership rate across 31 global regions. Zero failures. Zero rate limits. When developers choose an RPC provider, performance is the product. Third-party data, no spin. The smartest conversation in DeFi right now isn't about which L1 wins. It's about where the yield comes from. $300B in stablecoins chasing shrinking native returns. Institutional players lining up at Canton with 400 validators in queue. ZK-powered compliance layers shipping without fragmenting liquidity. The market is telling you something: the next wave of DeFi growth won't come from new token incentives. It'll come from whoever builds the most trusted bridge between TradFi capital and onchain infrastructure. Privacy that satisfies regulators. Yield that comes from real economic activity. Settlement that institutions actually use. The protocols solving this aren't the loudest in the room. But they're the ones the next trillion dollars will flow through.

You can’t imagine better marketing for Succinct and zkVMs as such
Google's Quantum AI team used @SuccinctLabs zkVM SP1 for responsible disclosure of a new SOTA quantum algorithm. Their paper presents a 20x more efficient implementation of Shor's algorithm for cracking secp256k1 keys: the elliptic curve used by Bitcoin and Ethereum. They believe the attack is so dangerous that instead of publishing the circuits, they instead published a ZKP that the circuits exist. I wonder if ZK proof of exploit becomes a broader theme in vulnerability disclosures going forward.

I couldn't help but wonder: What does it look like to be a human CMO of an "AI CMO" product? I get that it's pure theater with Claude wrappers, clickbait, and overmarketing but how does it feel personally?

One number got me thinking this week. 95% of all Bitcoin has already been mined. The 20,000,000th coin was released this week. But the remaining 5% - less than 1/20 of total supply - will be mined over the next 115 years. 115 years ago, instant coffee and plastic were just being invented. That's the scale we're talking about. What role will Bitcoin play in the 2140s?

Great to see GetBlock's brand strength validated by industry experts like @yavorovych_da from Dysnix and RPC Fast 🔥recognition as a top-tier Solana RPC provider: "GetBlock has consistently been benchmarked as the fastest provider in Europe, Asia, and Africa for Solana RPC response times. Transaction landing optimizer (LandFirst), and engineering support for custom configs. If you have geographically distributed users and latency is regional, this is worth serious consideration"

In terms of PR/marketing, unexpected beefs are an obvious signal of a bear market coming. When Bitcoin was over $125K, nobody cared about the Aave Labs/DAO controversy. Nobody was asking who founded Dragonfly. When there's blood on the street, old wounds hurt.
