As long as you don't expect a certain type of film, this is exceptional sci-fi entertainment. It's safe to assume Spielberg knows better than you, so give yourself over to the experience.

This is a fun, light-hearted comedy. It might be low-stakes, but it's still a nice time at the movies. John Carney keeps delivering adult-focused feel-good musicals, and I hope he never stops.
