Ainsworth just qualified for state basketball finals in Class D1.
It's a city of about 1,600 (down from 2,250 in 1980).
In 2002 they had 177 kids in grades 10-12. This year it's 87 kids.
Next year they estimate 77.
A town of 1,600 with only one high school is class D1.

What an accomplishment for this senior, state medalist last year, freak injury this year in the middle of golf season, surgery, shut out of a cart appeal but still wanted to play her senior districts and she did! Way to go, Olivia Prauner! #knightpride #resilience #pegleg

- Play for the school within the established residential boundaries only (no transfers).
- Keep as is; kids transfer; subtle recruiting happens
- Just allow full recruiting because it’s mostly happening anyway.
