Dannen said he was asking donors to not donate to Nebraska and redirect funds to 1890. Which is crazy if you think about it, but it also shows the ROI they believe NIL brings.
I suspect if Nebraska football starts registering more impactful moments on the field and starts winning more than losing, the marketability of the team will increase, and so will the NIL allotment.

Today I celebrated the passage of LB 1261 from this legislative session. As Governor, I recognize that electricity is necessary for economic development. My priority is to protect Nebraska ratepayers from having to bear the financial burden of paying for new large load energy development. The worldโs largest companies should pay for their own electricity, not Nebraskans.
Thanks to Senator DeKay for carrying this legislation at my request and Senator Moser for prioritizing it. Nebraska now will allow public-private partnerships to build energy infrastructure and jump start new economic development across the state.
