Delighted to have been part of this huge, radical effort led by @srpoverty with input from hundreds of activists and academics like @jasonhickel and @PikettyWIL to chart a world of policies for ending poverty without growth. Link below.

6 years for criminal damage. Very happy to discuss ‘two tier justice’.

This is crazy police state kind of stuff.
This is barbaric. They were not permitted to explain to the jury why they carried out the attack on the Elbit factory - which makes the weapons that kill Palestinian children. And the jury was never told they would be sentenced as terrorists. /1

Musk as a trillionaire- anyone as a trillionaire- is a grotesque economic, moral and political problem. We cannot have individuals with that level of power, whatever they might have achieved.

Gut wrenching to see four young people jailed for direct action against an arms supplier to Israel. Years in prison for protesting to save lives in Gaza, with 'terrorism' used despite no jury convicting them of it. A truly dangerous attack on the right to protest.

Absolutely astonishing that there has been a two day racist pogrom in Northern Ireland and @Keir_Starmer hasn’t called a COBRA meeting. QWHITE revealing!

The full 'Roadmap' of policies is here: neep-poverty.org/roadmap-for… alongside many Policy Profiles, including the UBI one which we @BasicIncomeOrg and @UniofBath wrote. I cannot emphasise enough how important this is for radical politics of our kind @TheGreenParty and @ZackPolanski

You see these scenes from Belfast? That's our future if Reform, Restore, the Tories, GB News, Elon Musk and the right-wing media get their way. Except this will be on a much bigger scale. We have to decide: do we want those inciting hatred to destroy our country?
Residents had to be evacuated from their homes in east Belfast following fires. Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service officers attended the scene at Lendrick Street on Tuesday night. Live updates: tinyurl.com/4xdm7tzu 📸: PA

Bloke like @Nigel_Farage is worth £20m, pocketed a secret £5m from his donor mate, and claims to be the party of workers 😭🤣
Reform is now the party of workers. Today I am inviting trade unions to apply for affiliation with Reform UK. We also welcome union leaders to attend our national conference in September and engage in discussions about the policies of a future Reform government.

This is just so bang on from @ZackPolanski and @TheGreenParty. We need a food system that works for people and planet, and that means radical reform, and levies on the wealthiest to pay for it.
From bakers to farmers to anyone running a small business - rip-off Britain is squeezing us all. It's time for a real plan to secure our food resilience: supporting farmers, bringing down costs for small businesses, and giving workers proper rights and decent pay.

EXCLUSIVE: More than half of former Labour voters who intent to back a centre or leftwing party in the next general election have cited the government's record on Gaza as a reason for abandoning Labour, new polling shows.

People are about to get so hurt by Andy Burnham. It’s like watching your best friend pick another dodgy partner saying “but this time it will be different”

Well said @ZackPolanski. Being Jewish and serving in an army committing war crimes are NOT the same thing.
We're going to have to repeat a lot that many Jewish people don't support Israel's genocide. Criticism of the Israeli Government and their war crimes has nothing to do with who is or isn't Jewish. To conflate them like this is both harmful and antisemitic.

I see this year on year with my students at @UniofBath . More and more anxiety, less and less hope. This requires collective organisation; we need to be politicising the young to resist. And we need structural change. Capitalism isn’t just going to fix itself for us!

The Milburn review published today is warning of a 'lost generation' of young people not in work or education. But crucially it identifies that this is a systemic problem, not an issue of individual responsibility. George Bangham responds.

So you know what @bbcquestiontime did with Farage? They’re now doing it with AI. This ‘expert’ panel on AI is a disgrace: not one critical voice. Gilbert works for Tony Blair to promote AI. Jones is govt chief AI booster (& Blair flunky). Riparbelli is industry. Gawdat is ex industry. And for ‘balance’? A Tory MP. 1/
Tomorrow, Question Time is in Dulwich for an AI special Joining Fiona on the panel are Darren Jones, Julia Lopez, Mo Gawdat, Laura Gilbert, and Victor Riparbelli Join #bbcqt, 9pm on @BBCiPlayer, @BBCSounds, and @BBCNews, 10:40pm on @BBCOne Apply to be in the audience here: eu.castitreach.com/ag/mentor…
