Everybody starts off forgiven, saved, welcome in Heaven All of our names are written in the book of life People who reject salvation are removed from the book “He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before My Father, and before His angels.” Revelation 3:5 “Yet now, if thou wilt forgive their sin; and if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of Thy book which Thou hast written.” “And the LORD said unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against Me, him will I blot out of My book.” Exodus 32:32-33

The entire house is saved when one person in it accepts Jesus Just as marking the doorposts with the blood of a lamb saved the firstborn from death in Egypt The firstborn in Christ marks his/her house with the blood of The Lamb sparing it from judgment “And they said, believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.” Acts 16:31

Sin for Christians is distraction from Jesus Jesus is our goal, not the Law The Law is fulfilled, our eternal salvation is guaranteed, the Comforter is with us And an enemy, who has rejected Christ’s righteousness for sin, can tempt us not with sin, but with the self-righteousness of trying to fulfill the Law without Christ "Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the Law; ye are fallen from grace." Galatians 5:4

The doomed seek pleasure in this world because this is their only chance for it in eternity They are confused, in conflict, and struggling mentally so they seek escape in the flesh rather than comfort in righteousness by faith "For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness." Romans 6:20

Sin for Christians is different than for non-Christians Christians are under grace Jesus is the Law for Christians, to sin is to miss Him and fail to accept His complete payment for our transgressions If we sin, it is through disbelief and returning to self-fulfillment of the Law, which is damnation “For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins.” Hebrews 10:26

I’ve seen responses to Christian videos complaining that "somebody else said that" My brothers/sisters in Christ, there is only one Gospel and it’s meant to be shared Copy my stuff if there is anything good “For who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it?” 1 Corinthians 4:7

God’s love and salvation is unconditional Similarly, our faith is only faith if it’s unconditional If we were only faithful with blessings, it would not be faith, it would be a transaction And just as Job’s faith had to be tested, our faith has to be tested "Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him: but I will maintain mine own ways before Him. He also shall be my salvation: for an hypocrite shall not come before Him." Job 13:15-16

I asked why God doesn’t just save everybody My attention was brought to the phrase "weeping and gnashing of teeth" repeated 7 times in the Bible They curse God or cry when they suffer They boast when they succeed They value their identity more than happiness You can’t help people who aren’t willing to change “And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” Matthew 25:30

There is nothing that deviates from God’s plan The ultimate glory of God’s drama requires antagonists Resurrection, redemption, and justice all require temporal conflict to express eternal perfection “In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of Him who worketh all things after the counsel of His own will.” Ephesians 1:11

Christianity is not the absence of suffering It is the guarantee of suffering to correct us and bring us closer to Him Whereas the suffering of sin only brings more suffering “For whom the LORD loveth He correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.” Proverbs 3:12 “For whom the Lord loveth He chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom He receiveth." Hebrews 12:6

We may suffer for righteousness, as Christ did, and that will bring proximity to God, as Christ did But those who suffer for doing so bro evil reap God’s justice “For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing.” 1 Peter 3:17

There is a comfort in Hell Knowing conclusively there is a God, who is just Now I live purely by faith, without need or desire of a priori knowledge Maybe that’s the point "..blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed." John 20:29

Most people in prison claim to be innocent Most people in Hell claim to be a good people Self-justification is the opposite of repentance “..Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” Matthew 4:17

God didn’t give us fear He told us not to eat the fruit of the tree of knowledge, and we weren’t afraid to disobey God Fear came after disobedience Fear is removed after obedience “And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked..” Genesis 3:7

We all respond differently to the same external conditions and substances Our bodies react healthily when we have healthy minds We can only maintain healthy bodily states by healing our mental states “A sound heart is the life of the flesh: but envy the rottenness of the bones.” Proverbs 14:30

God is only pleased by faith and only deals directly with those who seek Him Similarly, you can’t help people who don’t want your help, don’t believe you can help them, and/or lack faith in your guidance “But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.” Hebrews 11:6

Will you spend time browsing on your phone in heaven? Gambling even a moment of eternity on something random and/or something you don’t love? Then why waste your finite existence here “See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.” Ephesians 5:15-17
