Yesterday I posted about the idea of #Blupets by @bunya_eth becoming IRL blind box plushies. And after that, I spent the whole day thinking about one question: How do you make Blupets go viral faster, with lower investment, BEFORE the IRL toy drop? 🤔 The answer may sound crazy at first… ROBLOX. Yes, #Roblox. And before someone says: “Roblox is not on-chain.” “Roblox is not crypto.” “Roblox is not NFTs.” Exactly. That is the point. No wallet. No seed phrase. No gas. No crypto friction. No explaining NFTs to a 12-year-old. Just characters, games, friends, skins, fun, discovery, and attention. That is where kids and teenagers already are. The biggest mistake #NFT gaming and metaverse projects made was trying to force mainstream users into crypto rails too early. The smarter move is the opposite: Meet people where they already spend time. Blupets can have both worlds: On-chain for crypto lovers, collectors, and NFT believers. Off-chain through Roblox to get viral among kids and teenagers and go mainstream. That is the real unlock. Roblox has around 132M daily active users. 🤯 (Sources: The Verge and @Roblox) NFT games do not even live in the same universe of mainstream attention. And here is the key: Parents have the money to invest, but they usually do not have the time to play. Kids and teenagers have the time, the attention, the culture, and the desire to play. And in many cases, they also influence where their parents spend money. Roblox skins. Characters. Accessories. Collectibles. Plushies. Blind boxes. That is the bridge. So the Blupets playbook could be simple: Give the NFTs to the parents, collectors, and crypto-native believers. Give the Roblox characters, mini-games, skins, and plushies to the kids. One side owns the digital collectible. The other side falls in love with the character. That is how IP escapes crypto. And imagine this little viral mechanic: The first 100 Blupets blind box plushies go only to the first 100 players who complete the Blupets World game on Roblox. Now the plushie is not just a toy. I've been accumulating a bag of Blupets and wanted to write down why. The biggest reason is the creator. What gives me confidence is that @bunya_eth is a storyteller and world builder at heart. It's the reason I've enjoyed following and supporting his work ever since Animation Everydays. The art is important, but what has always stood out to me is his ability to create a world around it. When I look at Blupets, I don't see another trait-based PFP collection. I see the early stages of a collectible creature universe. The second thing that stands out is execution speed. Attention is one of the most valuable resources in NFTs, and Bunya is leaning heavily into AI to accelerate creation, experimentation, and development. In a market where attention compounds and narratives move fast, being able to build and iterate quickly is a serious advantage. The third piece is speculation. Speculation is often viewed negatively, but it's one of the most important ingredients in any market. It's what captures attention. It's what gets people talking. It's what allows imaginations to run wild. The most interesting line in the entire project overview wasn't the art or the mint mechanics. It was this: "The agentic layer will use vibes to help define how each Blupet behaves, reacts, and interacts." That's a powerful idea because nobody knows exactly where it leads. The collection isn't presenting a finished product. It's presenting a possibility. And possibilities are where some of the strongest narratives are born. I also love the merge mechanic. Collectors can burn NFTs to evolve them into new forms, creating a naturally deflationary system where supply decreases over time. We've already seen how powerful these mechanics can be. Normies minted below 0.01 ETH and eventually ran to roughly 0.5 ETH as collectors chased evolutions and removed supply from the market. When collectors begin pursuing specific outcomes, they don't just buy one NFT. They sweep multiple. They burn supply. They compete to create rarer assets. Blupets takes that concept in a direction that feels even more aligned with creature collecting. And that's where the IP angle becomes interesting. I think a lot of people underestimate how much value can accrue from emotional attachment. Look at Pokémon. The cards themselves are just pieces of cardboard. The value comes from the characters, the stories, the collecting behavior, and the emotional connection people develop over years. That's why I'm interested in projects building worlds, not just collections. Could I be wrong? Absolutely. But when I combine a proven world builder, AI-enabled execution, open-ended speculation around agentic NFTs, deflationary evolution mechanics, and the potential for genuine emotional attachment to the IP, I see a setup that's interesting enough to place a bet on. We'll see how it plays out.

You can see why, over 115 ETH total volume with just only 295 listings. In a 8191 supply collection, if you are seeing only 3% listing, you should know that people know the potential who are holding. Just a few sweeps and the floor will be over 0.05 ETH just like that as the floor is not bricked like a lot of collections. If you didn't fade what I said, you are early to what's going to come.
