Yesterday, Ed Miliband set out the UKās Seventh Carbon Budget for 2038ā2042, the next milestone on the legislated path to net zero by 2050. Citing NZT data, he noted that net zero targets now cover around '80% of global GDP'.

New factcheck by @daisydunnesci at @CarbonBrief using NZT data shows: among major emitters, only the US and Iran lack net zero targets.
