As we argued last year, parliament needs to take a much more active role in debating net zero. There has been a positive change in amount of net zero scrutiny by committees this year, but scale of changes means we will need to build broad political consent

Nice piece this from @BBC featuring some of the #ClimateAssemblyUK members and recommendations on #NetZero - e.g. cheaper low carbon food, support for farmers, better product labelling, voluntary shift in diet, changes in land use to absorb more carbon from the atmosphere
